Book Review – “The Maze Runner” Book 1

6186357“I did not expect to enjoy this so much, I assumed it was another young adult novel that I wouldn’t like. I was mistaken. The story started off with mystery as boy was sent up with no clue as to who he was or why he was there. The Gladers took him in, as they do everyone that is sent up to the surface, and gave him a rank and responsibilities. But he was just simply too curious as to why no one has been able to leave this place and why no one has challenged the rules. He took it upon himself to get promoted very quickly so that he may explore this trap they were in called the maze. The book offers a lot of mystery and unanswered questions about Wicked, the organization that has trapped them. But some of the Gladers are willing to do whatever it takes to get to the bottom of things and free themselves from the maze. I cant wait to read the Scorch Trials with is book two. Hope you enjoy it.” -Norman LaVelle
